"Nitel" MD Control Panel can be used stand
alone, or integrated with economical PC
based Enterprise Energy Management
Software.
The “Nitel” MD Controller determines the
total electrical energy consumption within a
facility by monitoring power utility mains
feeding the facility. Through the “Nitel” MD
Control Panel logs on board total power used,
instantaneous power, accumulated demand
and peak demand.
During period of high-energy consumption
“Nitel” MD Control Panel performs automatic
control actions to limit demand. This can be
achieved either by shedding non-critical
loads, or by starting one or more backup
generators in order to reduce the amount of
electrical energy supplied by the utility. The
“Nitel” MD Control Panel uses 2 No. of on
board solid state relay outputs volt free
contracts (280 VAC rms max,100 MA max)
to perform demand Control or programmable
set point control functions. Relays can also
be manually controlled via communications.
